How time Flies when you are having fun...or Gaming! Alrighty, what to update? I guess my WoW status is top of the list, of course.Okay, so now Alagaesia is Level 31. Still making the mad gold with my jewelcrafting skills. I left that guild I was in to go back to The Dreamers. It was a smaller, more mature guild. No poo or fart talk. Our guildmaster was Icemilk. Really nice guy...level 60 Gnome. He was really helpful and always checked in on ya when he saw you were online. I tend to be a bit on the "chatty" side and this group was not so chatty. If you notice that I'm talking in past-tense about the guild, I just found out yesterday that Icemilk discontinued the guild. In his words: "Just not feeling it anymore". Not too surprised though, there were signs...and of course he is big-time now, Level 60 gets you into the Outland which is the Burning Crusade new zone. So now I go in search of a new guild...
Really doing a whole lot of grinding (heavy killing to gain experience points) to level up to 40. At level 40 I can get a mount and that will make travel throughout my realm much faster and easier. I really want my mount for when Clay and I go to:
Yep, that's right we are Uber-N3rds. It's being held in Dallas this year July 5-8th. The very day tickets went on sale, Clay and I ordered our tickets and even reserved a table for the gaming! July 5-8th you can find Clay and I at the Gaylord Texan Hotel, from sun up to sun down (and past) all greasy and pasty gaming our hearts out with giant N3rdy smiles on our faces.I'm not planning on entering any WoW tournaments, it will be just so cool to be surrounded by "Our People". I think I tinkled a little bit just thinking about it. We are going to tote our laptops and other gaming paraphernalia and set up on our 6 ft. table. I'm planning on decorating my section in "Hello Kitty". It's going to be so great!
Okay, so something else that I'm into: Digital Scrapbooking. There's an annual Scrapbook Convention that is held in Dallas every year in June. It's called the Great American Scrapbook Convention.
I'm not planning on attending the whole thing, but I am going with Trisha, a girl that I work with. We are going to an all-night crop. Let me explain. For those that don't know, scrapbooking is where you take photos and place them on a page with a background, embellishments of ribbon, tags, clips, etc. and a little snippet of narration about the photo. Usually these scrapbook pages are kept in a book...you get the "picture" :) Anyway, a crop party is people sitting around doing just that. We are going to a digital crop, so we won't be working with actual pages and such. It's all digital. I have been painstakingly acquiring scrapbook backgrounds, embellishments, page kits, fonts, alphabets and overlays and keeping them on an external harddrive along with just about every photo I have ever taken. All ready to make scrapbook pages. Now me finding the time and actually focusing on that project has been a major problem for me. (the WoW gods call to me) I figure that if I PAY and am in a room full of other women who are doing the exact same thing as me, I have a better potential of getting a lot of these pages finished if not at least started. Ideas for pages will be everywhere.
It's on a Friday night from 6pm to 12am. Clay's got a Friday night to himself. (he never gets that) VIVA LA SCRAPBOOKING!!
