This past Friday night was the season opener for Wills Point Varsity Football at home against the Athens Hornets. Wills Point: 20 / Athens: 15 WOOHOO! Of course the star of the game in Mommie's eyes, was my Baby Boy, 60 - Spencer Jennings. Helping to cheer The Tiger's on to victory were Clay and myself, as well as Shawn and Brittany. It was nice to have Brittany by my side cheering our favorite guy on (who looks wayyyyyy cute in his new football outfit). Look at her there with Spen...she just oozes team spirit...Brittany, like me, thought that everytime Spen glanced even slightly our way, that he was looking at us and we cheered that much harder. Brittany even got a coupla kiddos sitting ahead of us to scream cheers of "GO SPENNER"!!!... It was an awesome game and thankfully no injuries. If I haven't mentioned it before, Spen's girlfriend is a Varsity Cheerleader, and this was the first time that I got to see her perform. She is awesome. Her name is Emily....don't they make a cute couple?

At halftime, Spenner does a quick change...takes his jersey off, takes pads off then dons his jersey again then lines up to perform with the Mighty Wills Point Marching Band. I hadn't seen this year's routine yet...it was Fantastic, as usual. And of course Spen was THE BEST trombone in the whole band.

Okay, I'll close this "Gush-Fest". I'm sure that more than one of you out there is feeling nauseated.
